Buy the next food only after your throws already land where that food's animals live. Rarer food generally draws rarer animals. It does not make the throw longer.
How to buy and equip
The Food Shop takes in-game cash from parked animals. A beginner layout puts the stand just left of the base entrance: walk into the shop ring, buy, then tap EQUIP. If you skip EQUIP, you are still throwing the old food.
You start with the Carrot equipped. Every later food is a purchase. There are 38 foods in 16 tiers in the shop list published October 30, 2026, from Common through Cosmic. Suffixes below follow that list: K thousand, M million, then billion, trillion, QA quadrillion, QI quintillion, SX sextillion, SP septillion, OC octillion, NO nonillion, DC decillion, UD undecillion, DD duodecillion.
Early ladder, where the jumps matter
| Food | Rarity | Tier | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carrot | Common | 1 | Free, pre-equipped |
| Apple | Common | 1 | $30 |
| Banana | Common | 1 | $150 |
| Toast | Uncommon | 2 | $4K |
| Orange | Uncommon | 2 | $20K |
| Pear | Uncommon | 3 | $200K |
| Cheese | Rare | 3 | $1 million |
Apple at $30 is the first real purchase. Banana at $150 is the last Common food. Toast at $4K is more than twenty times Banana, so save for it instead of buying every row you can already see. The Steel Bar at $50 can be the better $ spend if your landings are still short of the next area.
Full published shop list
Watermelon's rarity cell was left blank in the same list. Fillet is listed at $57 trillion after Shank at $618 trillion, which breaks the otherwise rising prices. Treat that Fillet cell as unverified until the shop shows it.

How to choose the next row
Look at three things: where a max-meter throw lands, how much cash you have, and which animal you are trying to park. If the landing is short, train. If the landing is in the right area and the catches are still weak, buy the next food and equip it. Do not skip to Phantom Lobster because the tier number is higher. You will not reach its animals without the Throw Power to land there, and the price is the last row of the shop.
